The Himalayan Mountains are among some of the most mystifying natural beauties of the planet. The mountain range stretches from Afghanistan to Myanmar, covering Pakistan, India, Bhutan, and Tibet. The Himalayas have quite a bit to offer to everyone, from the seasoned explorer to the uninitiated tourists.
One of the prettiest and least travelled regions of the Himalayan range is the Spiti Valley. A journey marked with some of the most dangerous roads in the world, a trek into this valley is full of life changing experiences and picturesque locations at every step… Located in the pass between Tibet and India, the Spiti Valley is a must visit for any traveller in love with breath-taking views.
Another awe-inspiring place to visit in the Himalayas is the Sar Pass, also known as the Heaven of Backpackers. Located deep within the Himalayan range, this pass is accessible after a 6-day trek into the mountain range and is located 13,800 feet above sea level. Various precautions are obviously needed to embark on a journey of this stature, but every step, every precaution is worth the journey undertaken.
Lastly, to finish off the journey into the Himalayan ranges, you can go on a relaxing safari to see the wide variety of animals that surround the Himalayan ranges. The most popular and breath-taking safari is one in the Chitwan National Park, which lies in Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals have been recorded in the park, alongside 544 species of birds, and 126 species of fish. If you want to experience the Himalayan wildlife in all its splendour, the Chitwan National Park is a must visit for you.
