Hot chocolate is also a great breakfast staple, especially if homemade! Homemade hot chocolate can have a lower sugar content compared to store-bought mixes, and is sometimes cheaper. Here’s our easy recipe:
2 tbsp Natierra® Organic Cacao Powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sugar
A pinch of Natierra® Fine Pink Salt
1 cup whole milk
In a small bowl, combine Cacao powder, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar and salt.
Pour the milk in a microwave-safe mug, and microwave for about 2 minutes. Add the cacao mix, and stir to dissolve.
